I started Doggy Day Care in July 2007, after I had recently taken on my beloved rescue Doberman, Gucci. Spending hours a day walking in between looking for a job, then the  penny dropped! Why not incorporate what I was doing into a job.

Going from strength to strength over the years and loving each day, I now have a fantastic team of dog walkers, Alisha joined the team in 2015, then Karen in 2016 and Amanda in 2017.. Not forgetting my mum who has been helping me right from the start..

Doggy Day Care has over 150 registered dogs being walked on regular or ad-hoc basis, Monday to Friday, rain or shine.

My dream was always to open a Doggy Day Club, to have a secure place for puppies and dogs to socialise and play without the risk of escape or strange dog intrusion. After finding the perfect 5,500 square foot unit, it was all becoming possible. In February 2021, I picked up the keys to Unit 3, Marie’s Way in silverdale! With a lot of hard work and long laboured hours, I was granted the licence from Newcastle-Under-Lyme borough council and opened the doors to Doggy Day Club in March 2021.

As each dog has come to us, we had them complete an induction to make sure they are happy and suitable for the day club. As we have grown busier we have introduced more secure play areas so that the dogs are in a group suited to their physical and age ability.

We are licensed to house a maximum of 40 dogs, with a minimum of 1 staff per 10 dogs in each group. We aim to provide the best care possible for your dog and have staff that have at least a Level 2 in animal care.

Each day is different and we have fun teaching and guiding your dog to be the best they can be, sociable, playful, happy and contented.
